Furnishings

The terrace has potted bay trees, chimeneas and planters full of bedding plants, as regards furniture we have 8 sets of stone tables with four rattan chairs (with cushions) and large parasols and in the rare event of chilly weather! patio heaters are available.

Vistas

From the terrace you get excellent views of Lake Windermere both north, south and opposite you can see the Old Man of Coniston. Occasionally you can see the RAF flying up and down Windermere in the European Fighter Jet so low you could wave to the pilots!

Lunch & Afternoon Tea

Just been on a energetic walk up hill and down dale? Then why not recover in style on our terrace over conversation, stunning views and great food. Take your seats, let our friendly staff look after you. 

Dinner

Weather permitting, our terrace is a wonderful spot to enjoy Burlington's gourmet food as the sun sets.

Weddings

Planning a wedding? The terrace is great for entertaining your guests with drinks and canapes, its also great for photographers to get elevated shots of your party in the gardens below!

Fireworks

Finally if your event requires the night to go with a bang, the terrace becomes a great auditorium to ensure that everyone gets a good view of the display.
