Burlington's Restaurant

The rich farmlands of Cumbria provide abundant produce of which The Beech Hill's kitchen makes full use. The hotel is actively involved with the annual Taste of Cumbria Food and Drink Festival - an entertaining showcase for the gourmet delights available from the county. Dinner in the Burlington's Restaurant, with its award winning food, service and Lake views from almost every window, is the highlight of any stay at The Beech Hill. Saturday evenings are particularly enjoyable as guests are entertained by a jazz quartet or pianist.

The hotel has held 2 AA Rosettes for a number of years and its consistency in producing cuisine of a high standard is ably demonstrated by our two mouth-watering menus:

Dinner is served daily between 6:45 pm to 8.45 pm . Dress code smart/casual, preferably no denim.

Select Menu

Our 5 course Select menu offers a mouth-watering fusion of French and English cuisine using the finest local produce and top quality ingredients. This menu is priced at £39.95 for the 5 courses and coffee in our comfortable lounge.

Classic Menu

Our 3 course Classic menu offers traditional food but with a modern twist, using the same local ingredients. This menu is priced at £29.95, again including coffee.

Advance Booking Discount

Guests who book dinner in advance of their stay are entitled to enjoy the Gourmet menu at a favourable price of £34.95 or the Simple Tastes menu at £24.95.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included in all of the hotel's rates. We offer an extensive buffet including Full Cumbrian Breakfast as well as continental alternatives. Breakfast is served in Burlington's Restaurant between 7:30 am- 9:30 am Monday to Friday and from 8:00 am - 10:00 am Saturday, Sunday & bank holidays.
