It’s time to put on your dancing shoes..... After an overwhelming response to our Spring & Summer Ball last year we have decided to hold both celebrations again this year; firstly in April (Licence to Thrill night), usually the first sunny days of the Summer, and again in August at the height of Summer.
You will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne Cocktail to enjoy on the terrace, hopefully in the sunshine, followed by a delicious four course dinner full of fantastic Cumbrian summer fayre. Following dinner there will be entertainment from salsa band ‘Mambo Kings’ and dancing until midnight.
The ‘Mambo Kings’ are a dynamic trio, all originating from South America. They play a variety of styles from background Latin jazz music to loud salsa party tunes. In their repertoire they have the sounds of the most popular Latin American tunes & many rhythms like BossaNova, Bolero, Son, Cha Cha Cha, Boogaloo, Salsa, Merengue & more. Their set list includes a variety of popular English songs blended with Latin rhythms, then finish the night with our resident DJ.
The date of our Summer Ball will be in August 2012, the evening is priced at just £39 per person which include the food and the entertainment.
