Vehicle Charging Options
We have partnered with BP Chargemaster who are the UK’s biggest name in electric vehicle (EV) charging, trusted by thousands of owners, businesses and local authorities. They design, build, sell and maintain charging units, and they also run Polar, the largest network of public charging points in the country.
We have installed 4 EV charging spaces to the hotel and to BP Chargemaster's Polar Network.
Unfortunately the electrical infrastructure in our location could not support BP Chargemaster's Ultracharge 150 Kwh point. So we have chosen to install Fast charging points. We have installed two 7 Kwh points predominantly for guests staying overnight and two 22 Kwh points for those guests who may just wish to boost their batteries over a shorter period of time.
The addition of these charging points to the polar network does fill an area poorly supported thus allowing visitors to travel to the beautiful Lake District without range anxiety.
